Quick Dry	Something that quickly dry nail polish.
Ram’s Horn	Slang for Onychogryphosis.
RAOK	Random Act of Kindness.
Raynaud's Syndrome	Raynaud's Syndrome is a disease characterized by reduced flow of blood in fingers and toes. The flow is reduced due to spasm of arteries.
Rebalance	In nail art it refers to "fill up".
Reciprocity	Reciprocity in terms of a nail technician refers to allowing a licensed technician in one state to practice in another.
Reflexology	A type of massage that involves applying pressure to different points of hands and feet that correspond to certain organs.
Removal Products	Products that are used to remove artificial nail products from nail plates such as nail polish remover.
Resin	Resin is a solid or highly viscous material which easily melts with heat. It is used as strengthener & adhesive in nail polish.
Retail Merchandising	Retail merchandising is organizing items in such a way that it engages, attracts and inspires shoppers to buy more.
Ridge Fillers	Ridge fillers are used to fill ridges and irregularities on the nail to give them a smooth and clear nail surface.
Rings Of Fire	Red painful patches in the nail caused due to aggressive drilling or filing.
Ringworm	Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin.
Rockstar Toes	Rockstar Toes or Twinkle Toes refers to a term used for toenails that have glittery and colored enhancements on them.
RPM (Rotations Per Minute)	The rate at which an electric motor rotates, here it refers to the speed of electric nail file rotation. The lower the RPM, the safer it is.
Ruffian Manicure	Ruffian Manicure refers to the nail art of using two or more nail paints on the same nail overlapping each other in such a way that it seems one color is sinking into other.
Round or Square	Refers to the shape of the nail the client wants.
Russian Sable	Russian Sable is a mammal and its fur is used in making brushes.
